As a recent graduate, I had very limited experience in schools before I started my teacher training. Turton School was my first ever experience of teaching and I loved it. I knew instantly from being at Turton that teaching was the career for me. I could not have had a better start to my professional development as a teacher. The support and encouragement from my mentors, my department, as well as all other colleagues and trainees was exceptional. All staff were incredibly welcoming and eager to help me develop as a teacher.
